But what makes it even more amazing is the fact that this is this deviant's very first try at emoting. The idea itself is really original, the animation pretty smooth and adorable, shading technique as well as facial expressions subtle but efficient. A promising work by a promising deviant. Can't wait to see more! (Featured by `DeMaulwurfn) CommentsWow, this is awesome! I suggest this for a DD!

Critiques
The whole concept of the emote is well thought out and nicely displayed with an easy to follow plot. The animation throughout is smooth and the shading is quite impressive.
The variation in expression has really been used to it's maximum in this piece and enhances the overall result. The running motion also stands out as a positive point. The hands move fluidly with the jumping motion to create an amusing and smooth running action.
However, there are a few places in which i feel this emoticon could be improved. It would be nice to see the spider roatate slightly when moving in the side to side motion. I understand this can not always be easily achieved with such a small object, but the way the spider hangs vertically as the thread alters angle makes the spider look a little disorientated.
My other suggestion would be to alter the blue eyes at the beginning of the animation. As white eyes are used to show the shocked expression, and only black lines for the blinking action, the orginal eyes look a bit out of place.
None the less, even without these improvements it is still a great attempt at an emoticon. There is good potential for more impressive emoticons in the future and i look forward to any which might be made
